Autistic young adults (YAs) have been found to face exasperated harms due to social media use. Our work examines ways to reduce these issues through:
- Developing educational materials to increase digital literacy
- Designing a gamified educational app to promote self-paced, asynchronous learning of digital literacy materials
- Exploring the applications of AI in technology to more effectively support this population through redesigned social media features.
